The "Cretan Thematic Park" is an innovative thematic park reviving the Minoan civilization. It offers guests the opportunity to get an insight assisted of Minoan civilization by modern technology and two dance theatre performances, while they enjoy Minoan flavors offered by Cretan products. At the entrance of the hall, young women dressed in the Minoan costume, welcome guests and show them to their seats in the hall, lighting in which is provided by the Minoan oil lamps creating a dreamy Minoan atmosphere. This is a unique, very special tour, introducing you to some very special private sights in Corfu island, so you can get an insight into the ways of old Corfu, as well as experience some unique products, customs and traditions. The tour starts with a visit to the “Theotoki Winery”, the private estate of Count Theotokis, a Corfiot family of aristocratic descent. At his large estate in the Ropa Valley, the count is producing one of the most famous restricted quantity private labeled white wines, served at the most exclusive restaurants all over the world, known as the “Theotoky”, as well as, extra virgin olive oil from his own olive trove.
During your visit there, you will be shown around the estate, its animals and gardens, as well as, the winery and press, and you will have the chance to taste the famous wine. Following your visit at the estate and a short transfer through the Corfiot countryside on the Pantokrator mountain area, you will arrive at the traditional old village of Choroepiskopi. This is one of the most traditional original Corfiot villages, built high on the hillside, with beautiful views to the northwestern coast of the island and the horse-shoe bay of Saint George Pagon. You will visit a traditional Corfiot village house, with original furnishings and fittings from the 19th century, where you will experience a unique insight into the old traditional ways and traditions as well as taste some original local products, nowadays “delicatessen”, and if you like, have the chance to learn how to make them! Upon arrival at the private village house, you will be shown around the house and its garden; your guide will explain you about the traditional furnishings and local customs. You will taste some original Corfiot pancakes (“tiganites”), a delicacy rarely found in stores outside, and some Corfiot koum quat liquor, made locally.
You will be shown by a local village lady how to make the elaborate hand knitted lace and observe some unique lace artwork pieces that nowadays are sold at a fortune as only a few know how and invest the time and the effort to still make them! You will then be introduced to the secrets of traditional Corfiot cuisine, by the lady of the house, an excellent cook, who still respects and follows the original recipes and methods of cooking; she will show you how bread is made and baked at the traditional olive wood fire oven in the garden of the house, as well as give you a hands-on cooking lesson on favorite traditional Corfiot recipes, like the “pastitsiada” and “portokalopita”. At the end of the lesson, you will have the chance to taste them!
This easy-going cycle tour offers you the chance to explore the local countryside and village life, in a more sportive fashion. Leaving from the port on coach, you are transferred to the MTB station in Dassia, where you select your bikes and receive the necessary instructions. In the company of your local guide, your mountainbike expedition begins with a short and easy uphill climb to the village of Kato (Lower) Korakiana.
There we have a short rest at a traditional “kafeneio” coffee shop, before continuing up the narrow village asphalt road to the village of Ano (Upper) Korakiana, one of Kerkyra's most colourful and traditional villages resting on the foothills of Mount Pantokrator,, with excellent views over 'the Land of the Gods', the inner plains of the island stretching below. Via a narrow paved alley, you then make your way to the picturesque village of Saint Marcos(Ayios Markos), an old Venetian settlement with stone-built houses – most of which have been carefully restored to their original condition by their caring owners – and a Byzantine chapel. At the local 'Panorama' Taverna you enjoy a light but heartening “meze” (Greek peasants' lunch) and some “moonjuice” (local village wine)...
Corfu is an island blessed with a beautiful verdant countryside that can be best explored on horse-back for those who love horses and the sport. In the lush green estate of Merlin, a peninsula in the region of Dassia, some 11kms from Corfu port, famous for its orange, lemon and kumquat tree plantations, there are numerous hidden tracks, trails and paths to explore, around the estate and along the coastline, leading to stunning beaches. In this shady tranquil environment of the Merlin estate, the Corfu Riding Centre has its base, keeping its horses and ponies. As part of your horse riding tour in Corfu, you will be transported by bus to the riding centre, where on arrival you will be able to enjoy a soft drink for refreshment and be shown around the estate and its plantations of fruit before setting off riding. The group of clients, depending on numbers, will be split into groups of 8 riders each. The first group will be fitted with riding hats, given some basic instruction on how to control their mounts, to stop, start and to steer, before mounting their horses and setting off for their ride. Each group of riders is accompanied by professional instructors/assistants for safety reasons. In the meantime and while the first group enjoys their ride, the other members of the party will have the opportunity to explore the estate on foot, swim and sunbathe at the local sandy beach, before setting off themselves for their horse ride. The horse ride takes us through the estate on nature tracks and trails, pass a shallow fresh water stream, down to a sandy beach, where clients can rest on their horses for a short while, take photographs, and enjoy the stunning views across the sea of Albania, the East Coast of Corfu, Corfu Town, as well as, Vidos and Mouse Islands. The riders will then follow another track around the estate, back to the starting point, having spent approximately one hour riding. Once back at the centre, they will have the chance to enjoy another drink, rest or explore the area with a local escort, or, to go down to one of the beaches of the estate for a refreshing swim or some sunbathing, while the other group/s have their turn to ride on the horses.

We first set sail with our private traditional sailing boat for the lava islet of Nea Kameni. We disembark and walk an ascending soil path to approach the crater of the still active Volcano. MARINE PARK, Kyra Panagia Island and Monastery
Our destination is Kyra Panagia the largest of the surrounding islands. We leave by boat and sail past the beaches and coastline of Alonissos and then head for our first stop at monastery bay on Kyra Panagia. Here we take the short walk up for our tour of the old monastery. You may then either re-join the boat for the short trip to our lunch stop in the bay of Agios Petros or join Chris on the spectacular walk from the monastery over the island to re-join the boat. Whichever way you choose to make the trip we will then have time for a swim in the crystal clear seas before our lunch is served on board. After lunch there will be time to relax before we head for the “Blue Cave” on Alonissos on our return journey.
